Privacy policy.

This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, who it is shared with and the choices you have. I wrote it to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, write to ahmer@vektoros.ai.

1. Who I am

This website is run by Ahmer Zaman ("I", "me", "my"), an independent technology consultant working with clients around the world. For data protection laws such as the GDPR and UK GDPR, I am the controller of the personal information collected through this site. Contact: ahmer@vektoros.ai.

VektorOS, the SaaSpreneur Inner Circle and the ENGAGE MasterClass are separate ventures with their own websites and privacy policies. When you use their sites or buy from them, their policies apply.

2. What I collect

• Information you give me: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), company, website, budget or project details, and anything you write in a form, email, call or chat.
• Booking information: when you book a call, the booking page collects your name, email, phone number if provided, time zone and your answers to its questions.
• Newsletter and downloads: your email address and the resource you asked for (for example, a playbook or the Script Vault).
• Technical information: the hosting platform and its security tools may log your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page and the date and time of your visit.
• Settings stored in your browser: small preferences such as light or dark mode, and whether you have seen the loading screen in this session. These stay on your device and are not sent to me.

I do not ask for and do not want sensitive information (such as health, financial account, government ID, biometric, religious or political information). Please do not send it through the site.

3. How and why I use it

I use personal information only for the purposes below. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal basis is shown for each.

• To reply to you, arrange calls and prepare proposals — to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and my legitimate interest in running my business.
• To deliver work we agree — performance of our contract.
• To send newsletters and resources you signed up for — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
• To run, secure and improve the site, and to prevent spam, fraud and abuse — my legitimate interests.
• To keep records and meet legal, tax and accounting duties — legal obligation.
• To establish, exercise or defend legal claims, and to protect my rights, name and brand — my legitimate interests.

I do not sell your personal information. I do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. I do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Who I share it with

• Service providers who help me run the site and my business, such as website and CRM hosting (HighLevel), email delivery, calendar booking, video calls, file storage and payment processing. They may use your information only to provide their service to me, under contractual confidentiality and security terms.
• People I work with on your project, only where you ask me to involve them or it is needed to deliver the work, under confidentiality obligations.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
• Authorities or others when the law requires it, or where reasonably needed to protect the rights, property or safety of me, my clients or others, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
• A successor if my business, or part of it, is reorganised or sold, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

5. Text messages

If you give me your mobile number and agree to receive texts, I may send messages about your enquiry, booking reminders and project updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver the messages for me.

6. Cookies and similar tools

The site uses only what it needs to work and to remember your preferences (browser storage for light or dark mode, and a session flag for the loading screen). It does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and, where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookies are set. You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. I honour Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.

7. International transfers

I work with clients worldwide and my service providers operate in several countries, including the United States. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live, including outside the EEA, the UK and Pakistan. Where the law requires it, I rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, the UK addendum, or adequacy decisions, and I choose providers that offer comparable protection.

8. How long I keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Client records, contracts and invoices: for as long as we work together and then for the period tax, accounting and limitation laws require, normally up to 7 years.
• Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so you are not emailed again.
• Technical logs: kept by the hosting platform for its standard security period.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information I hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how I use it (including objecting to direct marketing at any time); receive a copy in a portable format; and withdraw consent where I rely on it, without affecting what was done before.

To use any of these rights, email ahmer@vektoros.ai. I may need to confirm your identity first. I will reply within one month, or within the time your local law sets. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (for example, in the EU, the authority in your country; in the UK, the ICO). I would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

10. California and other US states

If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, this section applies to you. In the last 12 months I may have collected these categories: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); commercial information (services you asked about or bought); internet activity (pages visited on this site); and professional information you choose to share. Sources: you, your device, and booking and email tools. Purposes: those listed in section 3.

I do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, I do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. You have the right to know, access, correct and delete your information, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be treated differently for using your rights. You may use an authorised agent, and you may appeal a decision by replying to my response. Contact ahmer@vektoros.ai.

11. Security

I use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, such as access controls, strong passwords and providers with recognised security standards. No website, email or internet transfer is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information and the law requires it, I will tell you and the relevant authority.

12. Children

This site is for businesses and adults. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, contact me and I will delete it.

13. Other websites

The site links to other websites, including Upwork, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, award listings and my ventures' websites. Their own privacy policies apply, and I am not responsible for how they handle your information.

14. Changes and contact

I may update this policy as the site, the law or my practices change. The current version, with its effective date, will always be on this page, and I will give more notice of significant changes where the law requires it. Questions or requests: ahmer@vektoros.ai.
